USC (United Soccer Coaches) Premier Diploma, Performance Analysis Level-2, (ISPASS) certified.
USC and NFHS (National Federation of High Schools) Level-3, Accredited/Credited certifications.
Further coaching certification with the Spanish LaLiga and the English FA (Football Association).
Les also holds the USC Director of Coaching Diploma and seeks to develop his knowledge of the administrative processes within youth soccer.
In the U.S, Les has coached at the college level with Coppin State University Intramural Men’s team; amateur male, female and co-ed amateur, and youth travel & recreation teams.
In England, Les has been a coach at the Development Academy level for both girls and boys.
Les has played at the youth Development Academy level within professional club environments, and try-outs with lower Non- league Semi-Professional clubs, and college/university level in England. Further experience of playing in higher level leagues with Men’s amateur clubs in England and the United States.
Les has a working career of assisting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health & hygiene as a Case-Manager, Community Advocate, Residential Manager, Vocational Specialist, Educational Development Plan Facilitator and Summer Camp Counselor.
Les holds a Masters degree from the University of Baltimore in Conflict Management and Negotiation, specializing in mediation, group facilitation, and community dispute resolution.
Bringing his employment and Soccer coaching experiences together, Les has also obtained the Special Olympics and TOPSOCCER coaching certifications. He has and continues to volunteer and work with a variety of community based organizations that bring soccer to groups that seek inclusion with the world’s beautiful game.
