Introducing Hammy, a dedicated and experienced soccer coach with a rich background in the sport.
Originally from the capital city of Yemen, Sana’a, Hammy’s soccer journey began at the early age of three, and his passion for the game has been unwavering ever since.
Hammy’s leadership skills were evident throughout his time in Yemen, where he served as the captain of his high school soccer team for all years. His natural ability to motivate and guide his teammates led him to continue his captaincy when he relocated to the United States, where he proudly served as the team captain during his senior year of high school.
During his college years, Hammy’s passion for soccer remained strong as he joined the intramural soccer team in his freshman year. In addition, he received an invitation to play for a competitive soccer team in Neenah, Wisconsin.
While pursuing his studies in Neurobiology at the University of Maryland, Hammy’s dedication to soccer extended beyond his own playing career. He has gained valuable coaching experience working with various age groups, ranging from coaching the varsity girls’ soccer team to mentoring middle school teams and a club team. Hammy’s coaching approach is fueled by his deep love for the game, and he consistently brings his passion to every training session and match.
Currently, Hammy holds a USSF Grassroots License, showcasing his commitment to professional development as a coach. Additionally, he is eagerly awaiting the completion of his pending D License, further enhancing his coaching qualifications.
